Virginia Public Access Project (VPAP)
VPAP is "a non-profit, non-partisan organization that demonstrates how computer technology can improve public understanding of the role of money in state politics...  The Virginia General Assembly has enacted significant reforms that encourage — and in some cases require — candidates and political committees to disclose electronically. VPAP plays a supporting role in the State Board of Elections' ongoing efforts to computerize campaign finance records."





Voters to Stop Sprawl, Prince William County (VSSPWC)
VSSPWC is "a registered Virginia political action committee (PAC)" and a "non-partisan volunteer citizens' organization dedicated to electing candidates for public office who are committed to stopping overdevelopment in Prince William County.  VSSPWC recognizes the negative impacts of sprawl on schools, taxes, traffic, open space, and the environment and helps voters identify the best, most dedicated and trustworthy anti-sprawl candidates, regardless of political party, and helps them get elected to office" by interviewing candidates for local public office and then endorsing those who support anti-sprawl policies.
